| February 2008 Hello Everyone, It is that time of year again and we hope that this past year has been good for you. Here is an invitation to join us at the 26th La Kermesse Franco-Americaine Festival. The dates this year are June 26th -Block Party, June 27th to June 29th. At this time we would like to offer you the opportunity to apply for rental space. Prices will be subject to space location. Spaces this year for self-contained food vendors will be 10' x 20' and 20' x 20'. The fee for a 10' x 20' space will be $725.00 for profit vendors and $600.00 for non-profit. The fee for a 20' x 20' space will be $925.00 for profit vendors and $800.00 for non-profit. All clothing, collectable items, or display vendors will be rented a 10' x 20' space for a fee of $625.00 for profit vendors and $500.00 for non-profit. The 20' x 20' spaces will be $825.00 for profit vendors and $700.00 for non-profit. 120-volt power will be provided. Food booth vendor concession stands, provided by La Kermesse, are available at a fee of $500.00 for non-profit groups and $625.00 for profit vendors. These spaces include an awning, serving counter and lights along with 120 volt outlets. If you need a 220-volt line a fee of $150.00 will be charged. All fryolators, grills, and major equipment must be operated with gas. If you need special electrical hookups such as 220 volts we will require additional fees as indicated on the application. If you are a large food vendor the first electrical line will be included in the rental price. Any additional power is a separate entry in the application. Please read the application carefully and note any special needs you may have so that we can address them prior to your arrival on the field. This year, we are offering vendors an all inclusive package. This is what we propose: Application fee includes four vendor passes $50.00 fee for a storage trailer (no larger than 16 ) on La Kermesse field Waterhouse Field parking of RV, trailer or vehicle as follows: 1. $100.00 for RVs for weekend 2. $50.00 for box trucks for weekend 3. $3.00 per day for total of $9.00 for vehicles for the weekend All of the above must be paid directly with your application fee in advance payable to La Kermesse Franco-Americain As in the past, we request that your application be paid in full no later than April 15th, 2008 in order to reserve your space. As soon as we receive your application and payment, we will be sending out confirmation emails. Its important that a current email address be noted on your application. The amusement company this year will be BOURGET AMUSEMENT CO. If you are interested in renting space for the block party please contact them @ 978-251-2724 or 1-800-807-2207. The festival committee this year has accepted NATIONAL DISTRIBUTORS as our soda company. Please contact Jason Seavey @207-773-1719 or email jason.seavey@nat-dist.com You must abide by the contract negotiated with the festival even if you are under contract with the vendor. If you are in violation of the contract, you will be asked to leave the grounds and will not be refunded your rental fee. It is our policy that profit vendors not duplicate menu items i.e., sausages, etc. of other profit vendors. In the event of duplication, La Kermesse holds the right to ask the removal of such item(s) in question from the menu for the weekend. Seniority of vendors will be considered in the event that such a problem arises. Please be sure that your menu or for sale items are listed on your application. Vendor rules: 1. No mobile homes, travel trailer, or vehicles will be used as a concession unless specifically designed for that use and will be approved by the festival committee. 2. There is a no vehicle parking on the field, but is available in the surrounding area. 3. Each concessionaire will be responsible for any licenses and inspection fees and will be subject to state and local inspection. 4. All workers are required to pay admission to the festival. Admission buttons will be available on the field before the start of the festival at a reduced price. If you have not purchased admission buttons prior to the start of the festival, you will be subject to a daily or higher weekend price. 5. La Kermesse reserves the right to determine suitability of items for sale and display. 6. All workers will be properly attired with shirts and shoes. No obscene clothing including hats will be tolerated. 7. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED IN THE CONCESSIONS. La Kermesse has the right to have anyone removed from the festival grounds due to drugs or alcohol impairment. 8. NO PETS allowed on the grounds except service animals. 9. La Kermesse has the exclusive right to the La Kermesse logo, therefore the La Kermesse logo cannot be used without our express permission. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
